BMK was founded in 1994 under the name BMK Professional Electronics GmbH. In 2005, the Israeli branch, BMK Israel (BMK IL Ltd., Israel), was established, and in 2006, the company relocated to its current location in Osburg, Germany.
In 2015, the company expanded its presence to the Czech Republic, BMK Czech Technologies s.r.o, and in 2019, it ventured into China - BMK Electronics (Changzhou) Co. Ltd. As of 2023, BMK Group boasts manufacturing facilities spanning approximately 40,000 square meters and employs over 1,450 professionals.
